Tron’s (TRX) Aim to Decentralize the Web

3 min read

Tron’s website depicts its primary aim is to decentralise the web, and it’s actions already point towards the goal coming true. It has already created an impact with the acquisitions of BitTorrent and even achieving transactions speeds faster than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

However what makes its aim even more achievable is the acquisition of BlockChain.Org. Blockchain.Org is the most popular search engine and data aggregator for Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. It is the ‘Google’ of the new technological development and news.

Taking over Blockchain.Org will help set up as the most important blockchain company that handles big data.

The report of the acquisition mentioned-

“It will be a platform that offers big data analysis, project evaluation, information search and other services for users in the blockchain field. Justin also encourages others in the industry to participate and build a platform to help the growth of blockchain industry.”

How will it decentralise the search engine revolution created by Google?

Google uses algorithms to search and classify websites according to relevance. These are linked to the keyword frequency, backlinks etc. However, Tron aims to do it differently. It will collect all the information on the web and social media whether it is texts, videos, pdf or any other types of data. With bigger amount of data a complete analysis of what the community wants, needs and what the current market condition for blockchain is will lead to an efficient problem-solving mechanism.

A Twitter user by the name of ‘Zell asked’ a question as a reply on Twitter user’s ‘Tron Live’ Tweet about the acquisition.

The question which asks ‘Wonder what the price paid for this domain?’ deserves an answer by Tron given that investor’s trust them.

A Reddit user by the name of ‘thebootslayer’ commented on Tron’s ploys of acquiring. The comment read

“Is this all Tron does, acquire existing entities? What have they actually built for themselves?”

Another good question! It looks like Tron has a lot of answering to do with the cryptocurrency community. At the time of writing according to CoinMarketCap Tron is in the red at $0.019.
